A glimpse of programs held regularly by Shri Lohana Samaj-Navi Mumbai

Events organized every year:

  1. Jalaram Jayanti (Kartak Sud Satam):

    Post Worshipping and Singing Bhajans/Kirtans of Jalaram Bappa, Saraswati Sanman Samaroh function is held to give recognition to encourage students from community for their academic achievements, students who've aced their exams are also awarded with gold and silver medals and at the program ends with mahaprasad of Jalaram Jayanti


  2. Patangotsav (Kite flying function):

    Makarsankranti day (Kite flying function) is celebrated wherein people from all age groups both male and female come together and enjoy the event.


  3. Chaitrabij Function:

    Various cultural and recreational programs, followed by prasad (lunch)


  4. 1st May - Parichay Milan Samaroh:

    This social program bridges the prospective bride and grooms from the community to find partner of their choice.
    Our new website parichaymilan.org is introduced this year who's main objective is to make search of prospective bride and grooms much easy and to facilitate easy information access even when sitting at home.


  5. Ram Navmi Function:

    On Anniversary of Lord Shri Ram, Bhajan / Kirtan's are sung for Lord Shri Ram and are workshipped.


  6. Ashadhi bij Function:

    Various cultural and recreational programs, followed by prasad (lunch)

  1. Spiritual Quotes via Audio/Video DVD of Parampujya Shri Haribhai Kothari

    2nd Sunday of every month (Timings: 10.30am - 11.30am)


  2. Get together of community females and organizing various informationals and recreational programs along with picnics and tours organzied by Shri Lohana Samaj Mahila Mandal

    4th Sunday of every month


  3. Bhajan Sandhya by Gayatri Upasak Mandal

    Every ekadashi


  4. Satsang by Shri Swaminarayan Satsang Mandal

    Every Wednesday (Timing: 9pm)


  5. Parichay Samiti

    Every Wednesday (Timing: 4pm)


  6. Computer Training Classes / Library

  7. Supporting the organzing of Sports, Games and other events by Yuva Samiti

  8. Organizing Cultural events to encourange young artists from the community

  9. Mavtar Medavdo: Various Informational & Recreational programs and their Birthdays and Marriage Anniversaries are celebrated followed by prasad (lunch).

  10. Periodic arrangements of blood donation camps and disease diagnosis camps in Collaboration of with Kutch Yuvak Sangh, Jain Jagruti center and other organizations of Navi Mumbai.

  11. Periodic Maintenance of Muktidham - a dilapidated cemetery based on Vashi-Turbhe Road adopted from Navi Mumbai Municipal corporation in (1991-1992) and was refurbished and all necessary materials for last rituals were made available at subsidized rates to public.
